Welcome to the all men's Taraku tribe! Hopefully you're hitting it off with the rest of your tribe because for the next 30 some days these people will determine your fate in the game. Just a few questions to ponder as we head into the weekend.

1-How do you feel about the tribe split? do you think there are any advantages to being on an all male tribe? any disadvantages?
2-Who on the tribe are you meshing with? who could you do without?
3-what is your general strategy for the tribal portion of the game? are you looking for a tight alliance, or just going with the flow?
4-Jeff announced that the tribe will be rating each other from most important to least important. Where do you think you'll fall on the spectrum? Do you think there is a benefit to being near the top? near the bottom?

Best of luck! We're so excited to watch you play!

I'm ok with a tribe split. It had to be split somehow, and I get along well with other guys. The advantages? Hmm well I'll talk about it in terms of a broader view. The disadvantage is that I think women in general do better with alliances and stuff, so giving 10 women all this time to meld together may be a big detriment for us if we go into a merge situation with less guys than girls and have trouble with pulling one to our side. The advantage is that it may give the guys more time to get on that same level as the girls as far as cementing alliances and gaining that "us v. them" mentality. So i think overall it's a disadvantage.

2-Who on the tribe are you meshing with? who could you do without?

I like most people on my tribe. I probably like Charlie and Randy the most but i like Devens too. Prob could do without wardog and Eric because i didn't get a chance to talk to them at all. That might change though who knows.

3-what is your general strategy for the tribal portion of the game? are you looking for a tight alliance, or just going with the flow?

I want a tight alliance that secures our numbers, but i want an even tighter alliance within that group. Thinking Charlie, but honestly I see a lot of potential in most the other tribe mates.

I think i'll place fairly high on my closest friends list. Maybe not the top, but I highly doubt i'd be on the bottom of anyones list unless it's someone i haven't talked to like wardog or eric. The benefit of being near the top would be a good first impression that i've made and increasing that overall "likeness" factor which goes a long way. Near the bottom i can't really see too much of an advantage....maybe if i'm scraping the bottom of the barrel the advantage would be that you aren't seen as a threat to get out in people's eyes....but it also means you're the most expendable.

I bet all of these people are bots except me and this is just a government run social experiment to see how a human interacts with life-like AI.

I see through you guys.

How do you know you're not also an AI programmed to think it's a human?

Also I had to tell my first lie this game. Not telling these guys I'm in law school given that everyone thinks lawyers are slimy. Hopefully I don't out myself accidentally somehow. I even started a new piece of paper titled "LIES I'VE TOLD PEOPLE" to help myself keep up with the tangled webs I inevitably will weave and my first and only entry so far is "Ace - told I was econ major" (which, tbf is only a white lie because technically I did study that).

Ya'll said this is free therapy right?
