Welcome to the all men's Taraku tribe! Hopefully you're hitting it off with the rest of your tribe because for the next 30 some days these people will determine your fate in the game. Just a few questions to ponder as we head into the weekend.

1-How do you feel about the tribe split? do you think there are any advantages to being on an all male tribe? any disadvantages?
2-Who on the tribe are you meshing with? who could you do without?
3-what is your general strategy for the tribal portion of the game? are you looking for a tight alliance, or just going with the flow?
4-Jeff announced that the tribe will be rating each other from most important to least important. Where do you think you'll fall on the spectrum? Do you think there is a benefit to being near the top? near the bottom?

I'm feeling pretty good about the male vs female twist. I'm very disappointed by the lack of an opportunity to flirt with girls this early in the game, but I know a thing or two about guy flirting anyway That's the only disadvantage I can think of. If there's a cute create some art challenge that may be the only loss from the guys tribe. We've got some smart people - undergraduates, masters students, and some pretty old people as a hunch. You could tell how "awkward" it was to make small talk in the tribe talk, and everyone just PM's anyways. I think naturally girl's can bond faster than guys so props to them. I'm enjoying the advantages of just focusing on 1-on-1's right now. See who wants to talk game, who is easy to talk to, and who will probably be game bots. Or irrelevant Eric idk.

I'm meshing well with Marcus, Chris, and Randy the most. I enjoy talking to them, but Randy appears to be the more in-tuned to talking strategy. I'll stay close with him so that I can get in with Ron and Matty hopefully - people I had a more difficult time talking with. Devens is alright. Wardog is fucking weird. I can't tell if the name got to his head cause he's playing that character worse than Tommy Wiseau. Whatever it is, I have bad vibes with him. I only remember Eric's name cause he didn't hop on tonight so rip if we lose? Hopefully.

Looks like the current strategy is to play with a mix of getting to know people and talking game. I'm just sharing simple stuff about my life, and hopefully I can get that out of people too. I'm going to avoid being the maker of group chats and let others do that work for me. I just gotta stand my ground cause I can't tell whose played ORGs before and who hasn't. We'll kill the challenge tomorrow if it is 1v1s like I'm thinking of. A tight alliance will be formed over time; it's too early right now.

It looks like everyone is talking to everyone. I really don't care where I'm placed, but I don't think I'll be exactly at the top, or definitely on the bottom. Eric will probably be down there while I oddly think Randy will be at the top. We'll see. Since you asked if there is benefits on either side, I don't need them right now. Anything can be a target and it's too early for that.

Otherwise, I have an itch I can get a reward for doing those practice problems. Let's try this out.

Otherwise, life update - survivor michigan had our first progressive last night, heroes vs villains themed. At the end of the night, we have our annual beer pong tournament. My partner and I we're a 2nd seed from last year, except we have a rough dynamic cause I voted him out during our all stars season whoops. Nonetheless, we we're going to at least make the finals.

Our competitors decided to screw me over, as the carry on our team, by telling my best friend to give her drinks to me cause she was "sick", as well as making me down a cup of jungle juice during our survivor drinking game (it's our own version of king's cup and I'll share if people are interested - it's a lot). Little to say, I was out of commission. I embarrassed our team. We lost in the first round. My partner and I had a heated argument again about why I voted his ass out.

What I've learned - even outside the game, people in survivor will do anything to win. your best friend can be a ~snake~ Also, I'm ready to bring the heat if my ass is last in rankings so we'll see.

This game's going to make me drink.

Hey Ace! Make sure you copy image address for something you are trying to post. After you upload an image to imgur, you can right click an image and copy image address (don't copy image/ copy the url of the site). You can do the same when you google an image, as shown here
