Hello all!
I want to give a big congrats to all three of you! While I didn’t
inherently work with any of you for most of the game, I saw you all as worthy adversaries and you all put up one hell of a fight.
Gillian, I actually couldn’t stand you at the start of the game. Even before merge your posts would make me constantly roll my eyes and then you became a ~scandalous granny G. You’re not fake, which I genuinely appreciate. I’m not gutted at people who play a deceitful game because all games are different, I’m just not all that impressed with them. You were extremely loyal to your alliance and you made a decent shield, imo, in the beginning of the merge. You might not have been that strategically aware, but you had your quirks in your game that made it unique.
I think you had a very polarizing social game and I mean to that 100%. I mean, I started off merge not wanting to talk to you to literally being in hysterics every time we spoke by Final 5. I appreciate your bluntness and and in another world we quite possibly could have bee aligned.
My question for you is -
Why did you lie about voting me out the round I left? I’m not fussed, but even Charlie told me he was voting me out, lol. There weren’t any powers left and you’re the one who came to me with voting out Michelle. If it was just to ensure your own safety then alright, but I just don’t understand it.
Michelle, hello stranger! I saw you as a threat from a mile away, but I couldn’t really explain it to myself. You’re cunning ability to literally have everyone in your pocket is pretty impressive and the amount of shields you went through without a scratch on you is amazing. I’m not shocked about your strategic abilities whatsoever, but when I arrived at the jury I was stunned at how many people ‘developed a relationship’ with you.
This social queen Michelle was something I never saw and it low key blew my mind? I’ll give you that I didn’t make much of an effort to talk with you, but my reasoning was I saw how many people you were still working with and I was hesitant. Although, I’ll give you Charlie! I didn’t see that one coming until it too was late. I appreciated our talks of being complete hypochondriacs and just being like ‘i’m not voting you’ ‘me either’ for the first like 2-3 votes, lmao.
My question for you is -
Help me correct my gameplay. I got voted out because I had ‘so many friends’ on the jury, but you were able to dodge that. If Charlie slit my throat then took you out I would’ve understood it, but how were you able to dodge that bullet? Also, I told you my reason for not really connecting with you, what was yours with me?
Charlie, my boy. Well, looks like you were everyone’s boy! I think the social game doesn’t get enough credit and you sir mastered it. Biggest shock of the game to me was just how many people were you with and successfully fooling. That being said, after the Aurora vote, I think we both knew we couldn’t trust or work with each other. We had completely different agendas and while we ‘checked in’ with each other every round, we never voted the same. It’s why I don’t feel all that betrayed by you at Final 5. Water off a duck’s back.
I thought your plan was all coming together by riding it out with Michelle and I then cutting us last second. From my perspective, taking me out and then not Michelle just doesn’t make sense. Bad move? Didn’t want to go to a tie? Did you see Ron as more of a threat? Despite that, you killed it in the challenges and never had your name written down, which is pretty amazing to me.
My questions for you is -
Were you ever sincere in going to the end with me? I’m pretty big on loyalty and from reading your answers it appears you’re big on the opposite. From what I gather, your ultimate trust was in Reem and Michelle who saw you as second tier at best. Anything I did that tipped you off that you couldn’t go far with me?
You all should be extremely proud of yourselves and I think we’re going to have a great winner no matter what happens. Can’t wait to kick it with you all after, good luck!
