This is Chris's Final Tribal Council Thread.

All other Jurors should remain in their own threads. Final 3, remember... this is not for you to address each other, but to talk to Chris. In-fighting amongst the Final 3 should be reserved for the Live Final Tribal Council on Sunday.

Chris, you have until Saturday at 8c/9e to post your statements/questions to the Final 3. Remember not to take up too much of their time as they have 9 other jurors to get to. Please no listing or questions requiring novels for answers. You should post all of your statements/questions in your opening post in this thread. There is a live Final Council on Sunday where you will get to address everyone live about the statements they have made as well as ask follow ups.

Hello all!

I want to give a big congrats to all three of you! While I didn’t inherently work with any of you for most of the game, I saw you all as worthy adversaries and you all put up one hell of a fight.

:woozy:

Gillian, I actually couldn’t stand you at the start of the game. Even before merge your posts would make me constantly roll my eyes and then you became a ~scandalous granny G. You’re not fake, which I genuinely appreciate. I’m not gutted at people who play a deceitful game because all games are different, I’m just not all that impressed with them. You were extremely loyal to your alliance and you made a decent shield, imo, in the beginning of the merge. You might not have been that strategically aware, but you had your quirks in your game that made it unique.

I think you had a very polarizing social game and I mean to that 100%. I mean, I started off merge not wanting to talk to you to literally being in hysterics every time we spoke by Final 5. I appreciate your bluntness and and in another world we quite possibly could have bee aligned.

My question for you is -

Why did you lie about voting me out the round I left? I’m not fussed, but even Charlie told me he was voting me out, lol. There weren’t any powers left and you’re the one who came to me with voting out Michelle. If it was just to ensure your own safety then alright, but I just don’t understand it.

:hot:

Michelle, hello stranger! I saw you as a threat from a mile away, but I couldn’t really explain it to myself. You’re cunning ability to literally have everyone in your pocket is pretty impressive and the amount of shields you went through without a scratch on you is amazing. I’m not shocked about your strategic abilities whatsoever, but when I arrived at the jury I was stunned at how many people ‘developed a relationship’ with you.

This social queen Michelle was something I never saw and it low key blew my mind? I’ll give you that I didn’t make much of an effort to talk with you, but my reasoning was I saw how many people you were still working with and I was hesitant. Although, I’ll give you Charlie! I didn’t see that one coming until it too was late. I appreciated our talks of being complete hypochondriacs and just being like ‘i’m not voting you’ ‘me either’ for the first like 2-3 votes, lmao.

My question for you is -

Help me correct my gameplay. I got voted out because I had ‘so many friends’ on the jury, but you were able to dodge that. If Charlie slit my throat then took you out I would’ve understood it, but how were you able to dodge that bullet? Also, I told you my reason for not really connecting with you, what was yours with me?

:shifty:

Charlie, my boy. Well, looks like you were everyone’s boy! I think the social game doesn’t get enough credit and you sir mastered it. Biggest shock of the game to me was just how many people were you with and successfully fooling. That being said, after the Aurora vote, I think we both knew we couldn’t trust or work with each other. We had completely different agendas and while we ‘checked in’ with each other every round, we never voted the same. It’s why I don’t feel all that betrayed by you at Final 5. Water off a duck’s back.

I thought your plan was all coming together by riding it out with Michelle and I then cutting us last second. From my perspective, taking me out and then not Michelle just doesn’t make sense. Bad move? Didn’t want to go to a tie? Did you see Ron as more of a threat? Despite that, you killed it in the challenges and never had your name written down, which is pretty amazing to me.

My questions for you is -

Were you ever sincere in going to the end with me? I’m pretty big on loyalty and from reading your answers it appears you’re big on the opposite. From what I gather, your ultimate trust was in Reem and Michelle who saw you as second tier at best. Anything I did that tipped you off that you couldn’t go far with me?

You all should be extremely proud of yourselves and I think we’re going to have a great winner no matter what happens. Can’t wait to kick it with you all after, good luck!

Hi Chris! Thank you for the compliments. You're generous til the very end :) It’s been a long day, so let’s jump right in. I was able to avoid being voted out by Charlie for my social game for 3 main reasons:

1- People had no idea how close I was with Reem. You and Ron both expressed concerns about Gillian going to the F3 because you assumed she would get Reem’s vote, but in the words of Queen Sandra, “I don’t know about that”.

2- The real reason you were voted out wasn’t just because you had friends on jury, it was because you had played such a clean, loyal game. It’s hard to compete with that, and I guess Charlie agreed.

3- I developed a very close friendship with Charlie, and that emotional attachment helped save me.

As for why I never really connected with you, there are a few reasons. For one thing, Reem had wanted you out for aaaages, and Reem has incredible game instinct, so I took her warnings about your threat level seriously. For another, you were very tight with Eric, and I knew that you would always choose him over me. I also knew that you would never be willing to cut him, even if it was for the benefit of your own game, and to be honest that rigid, unwavering loyalty frustrated me as I like a more flexible game. The main reason, though, is more boring-- timing and coincidence. I didn’t end up on your tribe at the swap, and that is where I formed my strongest alliances.

bfirst u are correct i am not fake and i am not someone who pretends to be!!! I will not play that way, never have!!! and im sorry my posts made u roll your eyes i was just trying to lighten the mood and have fun!!! well id like to understand these quirks!!! so please enlighten me!!! and im not scandalous and i will prove that!!!! u didnt give me a chance!!! and I was so nice to u!!! i m so tired of being shot on at this point!!! ll everyone wants to do is shit on gilly!!! tell me what u did to make moves!!! I was talking to people and trying to get people out!!! u were not a huge threat in my opinion. I am not some idiot and im dick of everyone thinking that!!!! I am a human fucking being and u saying that is making feel oh so sweet!!! I played the game my way!!! i was not a threat to anyone which i planned not to be. however some must of saw me as some type of threat as i had the most votes of the f3 so i mean that says something!! I tried to lighten the mood most of the time and if u were annoyed then im sorry!!! i am literally at my whits end rn!!! and i didnt tell u i was voting u as i seriously contemplated voting michelle!!! but the numbers were not there. Plus i never knew what u ron were gonna really do as u could of blindsided me as that was always my biggest fear!!!! i did want to protect myself and thats the bottom line!! I was feeling like i probably needed to vote michelle out or ron at that point but there was not gonna be any numbers for that and as u can see i had formed this f3 with charlie and michelle and since a loyal person i just couldnt turn on them!!! So im sorry i lied to u,i literally never told a single person i was voting out that i was voting them and theres a reason for that!! i didnt want them to pull a last minute vote change and vote me out!!! as i saw that happen too many times!!! other than the votes I was honest with people!!! in fact randy had tried to get this alliance together as we were being "told" the vote and we were gonna take the dictators out but i was not being told who to vote i was asked and i asked others!!! I told matty about that and reem and he wanted to bring eric in but i said oh hell not the dude im trying to take out!!! so i said aight but i was not aight with it!!! that alliance was never even official!!! But i was being strategic!!! and i hope u realize your comments literally made me cry!!! :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob:

Thank you so much Chris for acknowledging my social game. It seems like the people earlier in the merge didn't see it as much and it's making me realize that my endgame was a lot stronger. But I admitted that in my opening statement.

I have been very forthcoming about my mistakes at this final council and I fully believed that you or Ron was responsible for the Matty chatroom fiasco NOT Michelle. I thought Michelle had played a UTR social game and not much else and she has proved to be a very worthy adversary for this council. I also believed that Ron had played a different game as me, having to survive being targeted right from the very beginning ,whereas Michelle's was more similar to mine and I was going to edge her out in the physical and strategic game, which I still think I have. I also used Ron's name when I was displacing my target level and was worried that would work as credit in his favor or wouldn't be effective if i didn't take Ron out.

I definitely did not give loyalty in this game. If Michelle had told me she was responsible for Mattygate I would have absolutely voted her out despite my love for her. Similarly, despite my love for you I knew that in the game I could not be loyal you. You just wouldn't vote with me even when it didn't make sense to vote against since you knew where the vote was going. You also were directly working against my plans on several occassions earlier and later in the game. Here's one of my favorite angry at Chris confessionals.

Is that how it always is? I am like fucking Chris man. I love that dude but damn is he messing up my plans. Eric was leaning towards a Marcus/Ace vote (my number 3 and number 1 option respectively) and Chris turns him onto Ron who is my secret ally. Ron also knows I had to rank him low if he got the bottom spot, despite him being my "number 1", so that ally could possibly be out the window. But even so I could prove I am trustworthy by keeping him safe this vote and Chris is trying to ruin that?

Uh uh. Nuh uh. Not on my watch. Not in my backyard. Not today Satan. How dare you PENELOPE

I love you but we never really had a chance. But I needed you as a back-up plan cause I always had to make sure my ass was covered.

My ultimate loyalty was to Michelle and Reem but my trust was with no one which is why I had back up plan A,B, and C and made sure I was able to win immunities to the end. I had to make sure no one wanted to come for Charlie in the beginning and no one could come for Charlie in the end.
