This is Matty's Final Tribal Council Thread.

All other Jurors should remain in their own threads. Final 3, remember... this is not for you to address each other, but to talk to Matty. In-fighting amongst the Final 3 should be reserved for the Live Final Tribal Council on Sunday.

Matty, you have until Saturday at 8c/9e to post your statements/questions to the Final 3. Remember not to take up too much of their time as they have 9 other jurors to get to. Please no listing or questions requiring novels for answers. You should post all of your statements/questions in your opening post in this thread. There is a live Final Council on Sunday where you will get to address everyone live about the statements they have made as well as ask follow ups.

well hello final three.. congratulations to all of you on making it to this point. you've all had extremely different journeys and its going to be really difficult deciding how to vote for. before coming to tribal council and hearing you all speak i had my mind pretty made up, but at this point I am very undecided so make sure you answer my questions to the best of your ability.

gillian, you were one of the people i talked to the most in this game and while i love you as a person, i did not give the level of game-play i wanted to see from you. you mentioned in your jury speech how you latched onto michelle after reem was eliminated. what was the reason you felt you needed to be attached to someone? did you think you could beat her in the end, or did you think you could not get there without her. you had full control over your game and could have done something to gain the respect of a few more jurors, you had an idol and didn't put it to good use! as someone who could've used that idol it does frustrate me. you mention the eric boot as a big move of yours, please explain to me how it was not a group decision and how he would not have left unless you wanted him to.

charlie, i for one am really confused about your game. you won some challenges, worked with the women, but was there any other layers to that? when i was still in the game counting out numbers in my head, the one person i regularly forgot about was you no disrespect. was it your strategy to play low-key or did you just have a really subdued personality? like gillian, i fail to see a time where you took the game into your own hands. you say that voting devens out was a big move for you, but in my perspective i was willing to vote for whoever your side was voting whether it was devens or eric or whoever simply because i wanted to keep my relationship with the girls strong, so you making the vote devens who really was no threat to anyone does not impress me that much. in the final four, you had the chance to take out michelle yet decided to vote for ron knowing he had many enemies on the jury while she had friends. can i get your reasoning behind that? and to finish it all off, what was the benefit for you in voting me off. if you wanted me to stay, did you have the social prowess to make that happen? were you able to control votes in this game, if not who was making those decisions.

lastly, michelle. michelle before reading your speech i was really high on your game and i was one of your biggest supporters which might surprise you. after seeing all that you've said, i've got a few questions. for starters, you site your one big move as taking me out of the game. what im failing to see is how that benefited you. sure, you made it here so it all worked out but as someone who was genuinely wanting to work with you, did you have a strong enough connection with say chris, randy, lauren or eric to justify keeping them in the game any longer? i could see me being a threat to many people, but you were not one of them. i liked and respected you a lot as a person, and i felt a bit disrespected when you made those chats that did not benefit you in any way. i was already at randys throat, randy was already at mine so in my opinion it looks like it was done to make a mockery of myself which i really don't appreciate. regardless of that, honey i was voted out in the final 10. 6 other people have left since then, what moves have you made against those people that helped you get where you are right now and why should i be giving you my jury vote? because i really have not seen any of that talked about by you.

one last question to both michelle and charlie, why did you feel the need to lie to my face while i was leaving? the two of you and reem where the only people that didn't openly say i was in trouble, and to be honest it was unnecessary and it did hurt me, so i'd like some insight.

in the end theres no hard feelings, ive had a great time this season and i hope all of you have as well, im having a hard time wanting to vote for any of you at this point so PLEASE prove me wrong. thank you so much to all of you, and good luck!

well matty i had no where to put that idol to good use except o reem and that was a fuck up as i said but at this point im glad i didnt use it on her. I needed a new f3 after reem left and michelle and i had been together sin day one as in o the same tribe!!! i thought well she could maybe win in the end but fuck anyone could at this point!!! and maybe i should of kept chris over her idk. seems like i was lied to be way too many people a lot!!!! u especially lied to me every time i tried to get eric out!!! i came to u multiple times talking about how i wanted eric gone!! when he went its cause i put my foot down and said we are not changing this he is going tonight!!!! thats why it was my move!!!! i was tired of everyone sucking his dick and i just lost my closest ally and that lit my ass up!!! i thought we were pretty close but seems like again i was just wrong!!!! matty u will see how much i liked u later!! but u were not the one who was supposed to go that night u made me a promise that u were gonna vote eric cause i had already been trying to get him out and so u know damn well how long i been trying to do that. but when all the chaos erupted that day i was so mad. i knew u didnt make those chats and i knew randy didnt. i had been on and neither of u were. I dont think it was very couth of michelle to do such a thing and i have made that clear!! i feel like it was underhanded and rude!!! I had to overcome this goat perception and i think i did that!!! had to overcome that supposed cheating scandal!! and i didnt make flashy moves but hell u knew i wanted aurora out before merge as i talked to u about that during the swap while u were basically between both tribes!!! so although i did not orchestrate her vote i was very down to take her out!!!! and i had wanted her gone before that!!!   oh and had i not played my idol at f6 it would of been wated ad that would of been an evern worse thing for the jurors!!! like all i would here is why didnt u play it u could of made sure u were in f5!!! so even though i didnt get to use it how i wanted i still got to show that i did in fact have one and that i was making sure i was going to f5. my name was out there a few times as a vote but i never hade more than i think 2 votes in a tribal!!! but of all the 3 here i have had the most votes against me and yet im still here and thats not because i was carried. people who are carried dont get votes against them or people who are trying to take them out!!!

one more thing about the idol!!! i didnt have it at your boot i dont think!!! and yeah u could of put it to good use!!! i am pretty sure i found the idol after u left!!! But literally the only good move would have been to play it on say reem who i wanted to play it on or someone i was gonna vote out!!! now why would i use it on someone if i wanted them gone? big play maybe but big play that would bite me in the ass!!! so in my eyes i had no where to play that idol!!! and i was not gonna fuck myself over for someone else!!

It was absolutely my intention to keep the target off of my back. When Jeff called me a non-entity I went back and celebrated being an undercover queen. I played the first part of the game without taking ownership of any opinions and making sure that my name was in nobody's mouth. I said all the time that I wanted everyone to feel safe with Charlie. I would do confessionals in italics that said Don't worry about Charlie. Nobody look at Charlie. Charlie loves you, he wants to keep you safe. And yes you were going to vote with anyone on that vote which is why the vote almost flipped on you but Devens was a bigger threat to me because I knew the game I was playing. Just because he wasn't the bigger threat in your game doesn't mean he was harmless. Getting out the person that is most threatening to you instead of the person that is most threatening to other people is the point isn't it? My game was to take out the immunity challenge threats by using the many alliances I had so that I could ensure my safety at the top and have the power to determine the fate of the others in the game when it counted the most.

I took out Ron instead of Michelle partially because I believed he had a higher likelihood of being the one responsible for Mattygate, which I was wrong about. I also thought using his name to play off my own rumors and ideas would be a more effective strength on my resume if I had also taken him out. This was a misstep but I still among my missteps for the final tribal there are enough victories to push me through.

I think the votes for Aurora and Matty had Michelle's name on them. Susie's no one in the final 3 Reem's no one in the final 3. But Devens and then every vote after Reem's departure I was in the control position. I shared it at times with people like Gillian on the Eric vote but I am the only person who get exactly my way consistently everytime. And I am the one who came to the final 5 with two final 3s and got to decide between them. I chose the women because we had played the same game but I believed mine edged them out whereas Chris and Ron had unique stories of being on the bottom and surviving. My decisions were not following the numbers they were keeping the numbers that best suited me around me.

I do not think I could have saved you if I wanted to. I didn't want to anyway, but the move against you was too strong. I called it Mattygate the whole game. I had more social influence in the endgame than at that point which is very clear to me now. But I still see this as a strength because I avoid being seen as a threat or managed the situation when I was confronted for the first half of the game and then held the power to the finish.

Talking people out of the door is another keeping yourself safe strategy. Don't light a fire under them to stay and end up as the potentially sacrificeable person during the scramble. But you knew what was coming in your vote and we should have been straightforward. I'm sorry it hurt you.

Hi, Matty! I’ll start off by saying that after you left, everyone was saying that you were a sure vote for Gillian, so I’m glad to hear that your vote is still undecided. To address some of your comments-

The reason I talk about getting you out of the game so much is because you were such a threat. Deny it all you want, honey, but you were saying the same things to me, Lauren and Reem. When we compared notes, your messages to us were almost identical, down to wanting to go to the end with each of us. I don’t think you realized just how close Reem and I were, because you made final deals with both of us and also talked to each of us about how the other was a threat. You moved seamlessly between both sides of the tribe, and had you not tried to pin the Devens vote on Chris and then Randy, you might have been able to keep floating between us for much longer. Your social game got sloppy at the end, but until that point had been practically flawless.

I really, really like you as a person. You’re sweet and smart, and have one of the best senses of humor here. But I couldn’t vote solely because I liked you. I had to vote with people who I knew would consistently have my back, and you had voted differently than me too many times for me to be sure of that.

You say that creating the chats didn’t help me, but I beg to differ. Like I already said, the chats allowed conversations to open up between me and Chris, and also me and Randy. Me being the first in Randy’s ear was the start of a relationship between us that eventually led to Randy flipping and voting out Eric with us. Having a common enemy is a very strong way of bringing people together, and I admit, I vilified you for that reason. I’m truly sorry that it had to be you, because like I said, I really like you as a person. But as a player, you had to go so that I had a clearer picture of what reliable numbers each side had.

I also want to talk about why I started targeting you in the first place, before Aurora was voted off. The fact of the matter is that my girls wanted Eric out, and I didn’t want him to go. At that point in my game, Eric was the biggest target here and I wanted to use him as a shield, mainly to help protect Reem, another huge target. So I brought your name out because, since you were playing both sides, both sides would lose a number and minimize the blood we got on our hands. Obviously you caught wind of this and got into Aurora’s ear, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that you were one of the most dangerous players still left in the game. You were able to turn a situation just like that and I started seeing you as a true puppetmaster.

After Reem was voted off, Gillian started taking more initiative. Reem had told her that she should stick with me and Charlie, and I trusted that she would because she really values Reem’s advice. Between Lauren, Eric, Randy and Chris, I didn’t have a strong opinion on who should go first. So I fed Gillian’s ego, let her take charge the way she wanted to, and at the same time minimized my threat level because of that. Gillian was feeling very abused by people at that point, and I knew that if I wanted to keep her as an ally, I would have to let her take charge of a few votes. Since we had the same targets in mind, I didn’t see any harm in this, and in fact saw it as a great way to solidify my numbers with her and Charlie.

The reason I lied to you about voting you off was because of what you accomplished before Aurora’s vote off. You single-handedly changed the vote after just hearing mention of your name, and I didn’t want to risk having something similar happen. I had a very shrewd idea of just how capable you were, and couldn’t take any chances.

Thank you for your questions, and I hope these answers clarify some things for you. No matter who you vote for, I look forward to getting to know you after this, and no hard feelings from me!
