It's never good when I have to make these...

We take the rules and fairness of Stranded VERY seriously. We have multiple alumni constantly on the lookout to keep players and hosts honest.

It has come to our attention that a player in the game has broken the fundamental rule of Stranded. You are not allowed to reveal your identity or contact players outside of the game.

Gillian,

You were made very clear the rules of Stranded ahead of the season. You signed and agreed to the Rules and Regulations that were posted. We have been informed of multiple occasions in which you were fishing for the identity of other players in this game.

We do not take these allegations lightly. We have received proof of your violation. We discussed in length what to do and have come to the conclusion that you will receive a formal and final warning. Any further rule violations will result in your immediate removal from the game. Your only saving grace is that nothing was actually revealed.

Because of this, we are giving you a penalty vote at the next Council you attend. You will also not be allowed to vote.

I suggest everyone looks over the Rules once more. Gillian, we will not be as lenient again.

I want to be extra clear about the violation. She made several attempts outside of the stranded forums to see if other players in different communities were playing in Stranded or other Alias Games. You are allowed to reveal personal information about yourself, you cannot contact people outside of the game or ask for IDENTIFYING INFORMATION (names, emails, contact info).
