And another one gone! A few questions for you as we head into an easy day "off" and the third round of the game!

1-So far you've lost two immunity challenges in a row and you're down in the numbers. How does this affect your strategy moving forward?
2-Who are you currently feeling closest to on the tribe?
3-Are you planning on being Atlasova strong for as long as you can? Or do you have bigger plans for your game?
4-Who are you rooting for in Winners at War?

Hello Lauren!

Lurker here and I would like to congratulate you for being the tenth annual Nate winner pick of the season (TM) and here's the lowdown on the high ground that you need to succeed after you've already earned the most honourable honour:

1. Nate winner picks need to be able to CUT IT UP and BRING THE HEAT - what do you think differentiates you from the pack of indiscriminate avatars this season? In twenty-seven words or less - What do you think is your DIFFERENTIATING FEATURE that will give you this W?

2. Nate winner picks, like a good college essay or a bad job interview, all bring their own UNIQUE PERSONALITY and OFF-THE WALL charisma, but are still quite easy to simplify their essence into a single sentence. They call it a catchphrase because people get CATCHED by your PHRASE. How would you describe your gameplay in a single catchphrase?

3. Nate winner picks, much like Academy Award winning film "Citizen Kane" have a BITCHIN' SOUNDTRACK. For example, the songs "Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing Ta Fuck Wit" by the Wu-Tang Clan and the opera "Der Ring Des Nibelungen" by WAGNER were inspired by my winner picks of the past. If you had a single song that would play as you win the final immunity challenge cementing yourself as the winner of the season, what would that song be?

Thank You and You Better Not Fuck It Up for All My Winner Picks of Seasons Past!

Losing challenges really sucks not going to lie. We've been getting better but it's getting down to crunch time where if we lose another one there's going to be some lines drawn which is going to screw the whole Atlasova strong vibe going into a tribe swap or merge. As for my strategy I'm just going to stay pretty buddy-buddy with everyone and try and stay in their good graces so when everyone goes all crazy they ideally won't target me. As of right now I feel closest to probably Aurora and Michelle which is weird because I was very against Aurora at first but now she's kind of the lesser of all the evils so I'll go with it. I don't really trust Reem as far as I can throw her so am I going to let her thing I'm totally down to work with her? Yes. Am I going to turn on her the second it might benefit my game? Also yes. I'm not sure how long I'll be Atlasova strong. Ideally, it would be for at least a vote or two assuming we had the numbers but all these people would easily cut me so I do intend on scoping out where the best direction to go is.

Also my draft picks for WaW are Danni, Tony, Nick, Nat and Michele so I am rooting for them on the basis that I am competitive and want to win. But also Ethan and Yul could slay all of them and I'd be perfectly fine with it lol

 I'm dying, this is my favorite thing  I am so so honored to be given the distinction of your winner pick!

1. I'm detached. I've built relationships with everyone but I couldn't care less which way the winds blow so long as its not me.

2. No one can let you down if you never trusted them to begin with. Also a good runner-up is my favorite quote "Never underestimate the predictability of stupid".

3. The single song would have to start exactly after I won for maximal effect but it would be "Watcha Say" by Jason Derulo because 1. perfect meme opportunity 2. I'm petty and would want to rub it in and 3. I think it would be funny but people would also think it's stupid which makes it even funnier.

I hope I'm living up to your pick standards and I am expecting to be absolutely flamed if I turn out to be a disappointment!

OK! So I was right and everyone is playing super hard and I am loving it. Jac asked me if I could talk this morning because she thought I'd have idol clues except I don't so she just revealed that she did and then purposely didn't share them which is funny because she definitely knew that would solidify she's not working with me. I tried to bait her with social information but she didn't fall for it but kept asking for the information I know so I kind of just made stuff up and specifically didn't talk about anyone I knew she was fishing on (mainly Michelle and Aurora prolly). But yeah, she said she knows people aren't getting along so I'm seeing if I can get her to tell me anything. She's definitely smart so I'm sure she'll just give a generic answer. I did feed the things she said to me to Michelle because she's a little paranoid mess and I know she'll go and tell everyone else. So if/when it gets back to Jac and/or Reem she'll be the one looking guilty and not me. It looks like there's two alliances forming but no one wants to straight up say they want to turn on the others so everyone's just dancing around the bush.

Oh and I also played up being a little ditzy with Jac and pretended I thought it was a little over the top that anyone was really scheming so hard right away so hopefully she fell for it. It wasn't too over the top so I'm hoping it'll just seem like I'm a little naive about things. It matches up with what I said to Reem though about how I was just kind of talking to everyone and trying to make sure no one was going to do anything crazy (but that I wasn't getting into any alliance talk or any of that) so hopefully when those two confer everything matches up.

I'm back because I don't want to study so I've been talking to people to procrastinate. Jac says Aurora and Reem got in a fight. Crystal says no one's talking game with her really. Jac said she's tight with Crystal. Michelle went on a rant about how she doesn't know if she trusts Aurora and that she thinks she has a big head (oh how the turn tables) so now I can cut a little bit of the fakeness about loving Aurora. Reem's just super excited for the premiere, she's doing her own thing rn.

Anyways, they are all nervous and plotting against each other but it feels like everyone is just venting to me because somehow I'm trustworthy? I don't know why they think that but I'll take it. I'm just encouraging everyone to "stick together to keep the tribe strong!". And I swear if these people self-implode before we even get to a swap I am going to lose it. There is no point (I repeat, NO POINT) in turning on each other when we're already down in numbers. They're thinking way too far ahead, like yeah sure there's going to be threats at the merge but if you vote out the strong players who might work with you chances are you're not even going to make the merge! They are frustrating me. Just put on a smiley face, grit your teeth and DEAL WITH IT. Also would help if people you know, concentrated on maybe winning a challenge for once instead of who we're going to vote out when we lose.

Alright, that's my rant. Going back to make sure I don't get caught up in any paranoid little schemes again

I've been doing some thinking and I think I may be presenting myself too calm. Everyone is running around like chicken with their head cut off but I've just kind of been chilling. I think Reem's strategy of telling everyone she feels on the outs is working for her in that people are now giving her information to make her feel more comfortable. If I present myself as too confident though people are going to think it's weird that I'm not worried and think I'm working with everyone else. Or that I have an advantage, which I do know they already think as both Reem and Jac approached me. I'm going to wait and see how our chances with this next challenge are shaping up and decide what to do from there. I don't want to act on something now and come off looking too scared. Maybe I'll play on Aurora's paranoia and ask her about what happened with her and Reem to show that they're talking about her. Not that they're trying to target her explicitly yet, but she doesn't need to know that part.

Also slightly unrelated but we were talking about our Harry Potter houses because why not and Reem and I are both Slytherins which means we have relatively similar personalities which is probably why I don't trust her much at all. Things make so much sense now.

Which Harry Potter character has a personality that you'd most want to align with? Least? Why? Feel free to be as obscure as you like - I'm a pretty big fan.

For a personality I'd most want to align with I'd probably go with Fleur Delacour/Weasley. She comes off as very focused on her image and pretty shallow however she knows her strengths and how to use them to get what she wants. She weighs all her options before coming to what she feels is the most logical answer and she's incredibly loyal. She'd have enough social prowess and cunning to be able to hold her own and compliment me but she'd also have a hard time turning on an ally. Also if I had to it wouldn't be too hard to make myself more likable than her.

Least is going to have to be Hermione. Although she isn't officially a Slytherin she shares a lot of their traits. She's incredibly ambitious and cunning as well as a good leader. Not only would her know-it-all, bossy personality get under my skin, she wouldn't be afraid to cut me if it ever came down to advancing herself.

They're killing me. No one knows what they're doing and everyone's self imploding. If we go to tribal tonight it's going to be a hot mess. From what I understand: Michelle wants either Crystal or Jac out. Reem wants Aurora (or at least that's what she told Michelle), Aurora wants who even knows that girls all over the place. Aurora thinks Jac and Susie want Gillian out. Gillian claims no one's even approached her about a vote. I did really consider trying to get myself in there more as I'm being a little passive but the aggressive playing is what's getting people targeted. So the plan (as of now) is to kinda sit this one out. I'm more concerned with figuring out where everyone's alliance lies and ending up on the good side of the numbers than dictating who goes home. Once the alliances are more set I'll get a little more aggressive but I honestly feel like most people are still up in the air and I don't think I'm the biggest target right now even though I hear about strategy from secondary sources. Ideally we won't even go to tribal but I'm just feeling really nervous about this swinging out of control.
