Another wild night of Stranded! Another player out the door, new tribes, and 3 full days to get to know each other before your next move. As we head into the weekend, here are a few questions for you to think about:

1-Who are you most excited to see on your tribe? Who are you least excited to see?
2-Were you surprised by Michelle and Ace's tribe choices?
3-Whats your plan to survive on this tribe?

I'll do your questions tomorrow Danni. I just wrote a general update.

Today was a weird one.

Today, I lost my best pal in the game, Reem, to the swap. I expected a swap soon, but thought/hoped we had another tribal at least. We worked hard to get Jac out, then couldn’t enjoy it. I hope she stays loyal to me. I intend to to her. A bit sad for her that she lost any control of the idol that I wouldn’t have found without her. Hope we have a chance to play together again. Hope I still have the idol then.

Aurora turned out the way I’d feared. I could never trust her completely, but was disappointed nonetheless. I hope she makes up with me in a way I can trust. Crystal’s tight with me now – what a surprise that was! But it may be problematic, as the guys may find us two a bigger target than Aurora alone. Aurora signed off early on the first night, which might be good for me, as the guys will get to know me better, although, since they know the last challenge scores, I’m probably toast already. If they don’t see any value in alliances, they won’t keep me. It's not like I'm knitting blankets for them out of sea grass or cooking gourmet rice dishes. I’ll have to do better in challenges to gain any respect.

Aurora signed off tonight with “Do you miss Reem?” or some such, which makes me wonder how she knew about us, if maybe Gillian said something. Of course, I denied everything. I almost hope Gillian secretly has another alliance and had some brilliant master plan and it turns out amazing. If she was just playing the game I observed AND throwing me under the bus, I'll be sad.

The guys are one unit with one outlier and one insider sneaky guy, Randy, who’s already bonded with me and given me the hidden immunity clue, lol. I find that amazing. I hope he’s not romancing Crystal like that. I’ll have to find out eventually, but I’m still in the honeymoon phase and I just can’t bear to know yet. Or Aurora! The horror. She’s a friendly, smart young woman, but Randy’s mine baby!!

I’ve been busily looking and I’ll find a second idol if it hasn’t been found already. I found the first one within I think 4-5 hours after getting the second clue (I’ll be interested to find out how long it actually took me from then), so I figure there’s a non-zero chance that Ron, who my new bff Randy said had both clues, and who isn’t on much, according to the brutes, may not have bothered with looking very hard yet. More than ever, I need to keep finding idols. The first challenge we lose and I don’t play an idol, I could be gone. Hopefully someone hands me a copy of the second clue, but that seems remote.

On the plus side, the guy’s chests are busting out of their shirts with the pride of being such challenge beasts. I mean, how can you blame them? It’s quite funny to watch. I’m sure Ace picked the team he thought had the best chance of winning, with the strongest guys. I hope this means we don’t go to tribal in a long time. Like, until merge long time. You know, nothing impossible or anything.

It’s funny to sense the guy’s various reactions to my chat. Devens was the most persistent in engaging with me among the guys besides bff Randy. With Crystal’s schedule and Aurora’s apparent mistrust, I suspect they’ll be way fewer descriptions of my occupation, meals eaten and hometown, sorry to disappoint you, gentle reader.

Anyway. So bff Randy is either a good secret spy and feeding the guys everything I say, or really an ally. I mean, he gave me the idol clue in like the first five minutes, (what’s that about?) so I feel I should trust him. He seems like a sweet guy so far. Whether working with him will do me any good at a tribal with this band of brutes is anyone’s guess.

I don’t really have a prayer with this group, I’m probably not even going to try to strategize with anyone besides Randy and Crystal, unless Aurora does something to enable me to trust her again. Maybe someone who’s a fan of the game will realize they’ll have to form alliances at some point and come nosing around. I’m not holding my breath.

We’ll see though, I’ll keep fighting and looking for the second idol. The first clue was basically, look that way, so I don’t really have the highest of hopes with one clue alone. But, at least I have one idol and if I can get anyone to spy for me, I may get the heads up in time to choose when to use it, otherwise, I’ll use it at the next tribal.

Onward!

Thanks Gary, that's super helpful. I guess I'll stop looking then. I thought if I had the clues for the other idol, I could find that one too. Oh well. Guess I'll go sit in that corner over there now.

1-Who are you most excited to see on your tribe? Who are you least excited to see? Crystal. Least? The wall of brutes.

2-Were you surprised by Michelle and Ace's tribe choices? No.

3-Whats your plan to survive on this tribe? Prayer. Unless something changes, I don’t have a chance.
